I began thinking about love in my previous pieces that talked about romantic relationships. After realizing that I was reflecting on the way I perceived and judged the outcome of romantic relationships I wanted to go to a more innocent love. My mothers love to me was the first love that ever existed. I want to begin with acknowledging the fact that not every mother daughter relationship exists in this reality. I was lucky to have a supportive mother that has always been there for me. Just like a canteen is used as a resource of water in survival situations this object represents the love of my mother that its the last resource for me. I know that I can always count on her and she will always have love to give me.
