The "Dia y Noche '' (Day and Night) rings are a continuation of the study of the song “La Buena Y La Mala” (The Good one and The Bad one) a song released in 2013 by Banda Tierra Sagrada. The song then follows emotional conflict and the indecision of the narrator - the singer. He begins by listing the qualities and the lifestyles of two women. "La Buena'' (The Good One) is naturally beautiful, simple and elegant. "La Mala" (The Bad One) is adventurous, savage and willing to partake in the narrator's party lifestyle. Although he knows that on one hand he feels excitement from being with "La Mala '' ultimately this will have consequences because equally he feels the same with "La Buena". In the song he journeys through the 'dilemma' of having feelings for both women. The situation is a problem and he can't control being in love with both of them.

This song released when I was 12 years old has played a pivotal role in understanding the realities of dating, a game in which unless both parties are honest you can't know what you will get. I have always found deeply uncomfortable the thought that a romantic partner can't choose between two partners, especially when the relationship is established as monogamous. I find it funny that he so openly like many singers sings about a topic because it is a very real 'dilemma'.

In this piece I wanted to focus on the lips of "La Buena Y La Mala''  as lips are one of the leading features that express feeling. While the women are with him I imagine them interacting with him neutrally, almost pretending a subtle smile. The brighter one represents "La Buena ''(The Good One) who has more natural lips, while "La Mala"(The Bad One) has botox on hers since she is treacherous. The back of the lips write out "Una en el dia'' (One during the day) and the "Otra en la noche"(Other one during the night) this quotes directly to the end of the song where he concludes that the best possible answer to his dilemma is seeing one during the day and the other one during the night...
