Growing up the church shaped me whiteout me even being conscious about it it was just something that was always there. The symbolism in Catholicism is so beautiful to me, it was everywhere I went. This piece talks specifically about my Tia Lupe who was one of the most special persons in our family. Among the things that made her so special she had a wall where she hung up her collection of "virgencitas" (Virgin Mary's). Inside the watchface there is a Lady of Guadalupe with other little decorations to play an homage to her.
